For more than 100 years the Azienda Agricola Prunetti estate owners farmed their own land in San Polo in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico region. One of their most important products is Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The Pruneti olive masters hand-pick high-quality olives extract the oil at their mill.
Today, in their 4th generation, they continue the family tradition both through the rediscovery of customs and working methods now forgotten by most and by the addition of technological resources and new scientific discoveries.
Paolo and Gionni Pruneti are the youngest, most dynamic and passionate duo making olive oil in Italy today. The family farm is located a few kilometers south of Florence in the heart of Chianti Classico and was established in the early 1800s. They have won numerous awards and have been recognized as making some of the best oils in Italy and the world.
Pressed from hand-picked olives in the San Polo area of Chianti, this IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) certified, medium-light fruity oil, is balanced with notes of fruit and sweet vegetables, with aromas of pumpkin, basil and fennel. Its flavor is accompanied by olives notes with a slight spicy, white pepper finish.
